Gold Eagle Coin Image Gallery

The following images present the American Gold Eagle. Authorized by Congress as a convenient method for individual to invest in physical precious metals, the bullion coins quickly became one of the top selling bullion coins in the world.

The design of the coins is a reproduction of the classic image used on the double eagles struck for circulation from 1907 to 1933. The reverse was created exclusively for the new coin. Top quality Gold Eagles encapsulated and graded by PCGS and NGC are also shown for each version of the coin available.
